General:
This wallpaper website automatically delivers a correctly sized image to your
internet enabled browser. While the image may "look" small, it is pre-fitted to
your monitor, smart phone or other mobile device's display. This website uses
JavaScript to sense the resolution of your monitor/display. This information is
displayed on sub-section thumbnail pages below the images. Once your screen
resolution is sensed the thumbnails automatically link to a detail page where
we deliver a properly sized background image for your resolution. Even though
this image will seem off-size, you may use it to set a perfectly sized
background for your monitor or display screen. Simply set the image as a
background in the same way you would any other picture ... right-click on the
image and set it or with smart phones, you may save the image then set it as
your background.
Chrome (Windows):
- As of October 2010 Google Chrome does not support automatic setting of
desktop backgrounds. To set wallpaper in Chrome
- Select the image you desire (the correct size is automatically selected for
you)
- Once the image has fully loaded...
- Right-click image and select
- Right-click on your desktop and select
- Under the tab, select
- Browse to directory where you saved the image and double-click the image or click it then click the button.
- Back at the window, click

- A pull-down menu window will appear and select Set As Wallpaper
- Your selected image should now appear as your dekstop wallpaper.
Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 (Windows):

- Once the image has fully loaded...
- Right-click on the image of your choice
- A pull-down menu window will appear and select Set as Background
- Your selected image should now appear as your dekstop wallpaper.
Mozilla Firefox (Windows):
- Select the image you desire (The correct size is automatically selected for you)
- Once the image has fully loaded...
- Right-click on the image of your choice
- A pull-down menu window will appear and select Set As Desktop Background or Set As Wallpaper
- Your selected image should now appear as your dekstop wallpaper.
- This program sets a file, in C:\Windows, called "Firefox Wallpaper.bmp"
- To remove, manually, this wallpaper from your Windows Computer, open
"Windows® Explore". Navigate, on your hard drive, to c:\windows and delete the
file called "Firefox Wallpaper.bmp"
Mac O/S 8.x:
- Select the image you desire (The correct size is automatically selected for you)
- Once the image has fully loaded...
- Hold the mouse button until the pop-up menu appears
- Choose Save Image As to save your selected image to your hard drive
(Make note of where on your hard drive the image is saved)
- Open the control panel and click on Desktop Pictures
- Click Remove Picture
- Click Select Picture to choose your newly saved image
- Load the new wallpaper from where you saved it on your hard drive
- Choose Position Automatically
Mac O/S 9.x:
- Select the image you desire (The correct size is automatically selected for you)
- Once the image has fully loaded...
- Hold the mouse button until the pop-up menu appears
- Choose Download Image to Disk to save your selected image to your hard
drive (Make a note of where on your hard drive the image is saved)
- Open the Appearance control panel and select the Desktop tab at the top
- Click Remove Picture
- locate the new image on your hard drive and drage it into the preview pane on the left
- Choose Position Automatically
- Finally, click on Set Desktop
